There are many ways to serve with the body of Christ at Discovery Church. First, decide to entrust your whole life to Jesus Christ and put all your trust in Him! If you haven't already done so, proclaim that faith publicly through baptism. If that already describes you then we encourage you to spend a good six months getting to know people in the church. Practice hospitality, stay after church for conversation, attend extra Bible studies or church events, and get thoroughly acquainted with the church's beliefs and convictions. If it seems like you want to be able to call Discovery your church home then reach out to Pastor Cory or one of the elders about how you can partner with us in our mission to proclaim the gospel and equip people to become whole-hearted followers of Christ.

How do I volunteer?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as preparing a meal for a friend or volunteering at our Gathering Grounds Coffee Shop. How do I volunteer with media & technology?

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video format. We also maintain an active Facebook feed for additional church communication. How do I volunteer with music?

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our worship team. Some play their instruments and some are vocalists. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God. How do I volunteer with students?

In order to volunteer in children's ministries we ask that you be attending Discovery for a minimum of 6 months. Once you have met that requirement you will meet with a pastor or elder. After talking with a pastor or elder you will need to fill out paperwork to have a background check done. Once the background check is completed, the office will contact you about a volunteer position. Please contact the office or fill out the form below.
